Solutions Architect – Applications – Azure DevOps – Power Platform – Shopify eCommerce – SaaS – Digital

Role is Hybrid and Locations are Regional, either London (preferred), Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham or Bristol

Solutions level Architecture to ensure the best use of data, ideally handling Applications, DevOps and Legacy Systems.

This role will suit an experienced Solutions Architect or a Solutions Designer seeking to step into an Architect position within a secure organization with a renowned legacy in the charity and non-profit environment.

Salary is £65,000pa + Benefits – Hybrid

As the Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing the technical architecture for all Applications, DevOps, Systems, and Infrastructure, ensuring alignment to the client\’s technology roadmap and principles.

You will develop and maintain the Solution Architecture for Applications and DevOps, aligned with strategy and business goals. This includes initiating concepts, scoping, designing, and transforming towards cloud solutions.

You will scope solution needs and requirements to build relevant solutions underpinned by a common data model, working closely with key stakeholders across the charity.

You will lead stakeholder engagement and possess a robust understanding of the charity\’s operations and activities.

• Shopify eCommerce
• SaaS – Digital
• Cloud Security

Role Responsibilities:

• Delivering solution-level architecture to optimize data use, handling Applications, Azure DevOps, and Legacy Systems.
• Collaborating with third-party Application Architects.
• Extensive experience with mobile, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
• Experience in DevOps, Agile project, and product management.
• Supporting procurement of DDAT architecture.
• Working confidently and comfortably in dynamic environments.

Desirable experience:

• Public Sector Experience (Government, Education, Local Councils, MoJ, MoD, Transport).
• Azure Certifications (DP-203, DP-600).
• Data Governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
• Community engagement and sharing best practices at organizational and industry levels.
• Integration with D365 and Dataverse solutions.
• Azure storage technologies and their cost/performance characteristics.
• Data sanitization techniques and tools.
• Master Data Management solutions.
• Python and Data Science skills.
