We are urgently seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer (Level 1/2) to provide hands-on technical support within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will act as the first point of contact for users, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and systems remain stable. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys varied workloads, autonomy, and direct interaction with end-users.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering daily support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
- Handling and resolving support tickets, escalating to Level 3 where required
- Installing and configuring IT equipment and peripherals
- Supporting Microsoft 365 administration and basic Windows Server tasks
- Completing onboarding tasks for new starters, including account creation and workstation setup
- Monitoring systems and ensuring smooth IT operations
- Documenting fixes and contributing to internal knowledge articles
- Supporting basic networking (Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP)
- Assisting with building-related systems such as CCTV, heating, and security
What We’re Looking For
- Prior Level 1/2 IT support experience
- Confident troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Basic networking understanding
- Strong communication skills with a calm, customer-focused approach
- Someone proactive, organised, and able to work effectively in a small on-site team
Why This Contract?
- Urgent requirement with a target start of 2nd February
- £175-£200/day, depending on experience
- 5 days a week fully onsite, working closely with a supportive IT function
