Our client, a reputable organisation, is hiring for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic Delivery Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cloud infrastructure deployment, development, and management, supporting the lifecycle of cloud services through automation, security, and scalability.
What you'll be doing:
- Support deployment, testing, and implementation of cloud-based infrastructures and services
- Drive continuous improvement of operational patterns and practices
- Collaborate across teams to develop robust, scalable software solutions
- Support bid and pre-sales activities, including architecture, design, and costing
- Ensure compliance with change management and security protocols
- Maintain documentation, monitor performance, and troubleshoot escalated issues
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that promotes learning and innovation
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience working with AWS cloud services such as VPCs, Subnets, IAM, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CLI management
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell
- Experience leading technical teams and managing project delivery
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and systems security
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present solutions confidently to stakeholders
- Relevant certifications (AWS, ITIL, etc.) are desirable
- Background in Linux administration and familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus
