This is a high-impact role where you'll sit at the centre of major bids and programme mobilisation activities, creating the operating model, governance framework and delivery ecosystem needed to turn ambitious customer outcomes into operational reality.

Rather than focusing on individual technical solutions, you'll architect how entire enterprises deliver

Working across customers, consortium partners, suppliers and internal teams, you'll establish the structures, processes and decision-making frameworks that enable large-scale programmes to be mobilised, integrated and successfully executed.

Initially supporting a major strategic bid opportunity, you'll create a scalable, repeatable enterprise delivery model that can be leveraged across future programmes and partner ecosystems.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Enterprise Architecture Leadership
  • Define and own the enterprise delivery architecture for strategic bids and programmes.
  • Connect customer objectives, governance, delivery processes, organisational design and programme execution into a single operating model.
  • Develop scalable frameworks that support effective delivery across multi-organisational environments.
  • Operating Model & Governance Design
  • Design the target operating model for consortiums, partners and suppliers working as a unified delivery enterprise.
  • Establish governance structures, decision authorities, escalation routes and assurance processes.
  • Ensure delivery organisations operate with clear accountability, effective controls and rapid decision-making.
  • Delivery & Lifecycle Architecture
  • Define how work flows from requirement through to operational service.
  • Create end-to-end delivery frameworks covering design, integration, validation, deployment, service transition and sustainment.
  • Develop lifecycle models that accelerate the introduction of new technologies while maintaining operational assurance.
  • Ecosystem & Partner Integration
  • Shape how suppliers, SMEs and technology partners are integrated into programme delivery.
  • Build scalable approaches for onboarding, assurance, compliance and capability growth.
  • Enable innovation and emerging technologies to be incorporated into operational environments efficiently and securely.
  • Stakeholder & Bid Leadership
  • Act as the enterprise architecture authority across bids, mobilisation activities and programme execution.
  • Partner with customers, programme leaders, engineering teams, architects and consortium stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic input into business cases, delivery strategies, governance frameworks, transition plans and mobilisation activities.
  • Key Deliverables

You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining

  • Target Operating Model
  • Consortium Delivery Model
  • Governance & Assurance Frameworks
  • Organisation & Accountability Structures
  • Lifecycle Management Frameworks

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting major bids, captures and programme mobilisation activities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, programme directors and customers.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Experience within UK Defence, MOD, NATO or government programmes.
