Our Client is hiring a Data Architect on a contract basis for a minimum of 6 months.

What you'll be doing:

  • Define the target data architecture for enterprise OT asset data products, including logical/conceptual models and canonical structures.
  • Ensure electricity transmission asset data is structured, contextualised and aligned to the Enterprise Data Model-so it's reusable across the organisation.
  • Create clear standards for data products (metadata, schema definitions, quality rules, lineage, refresh requirements, ownership, stewardship and version control).
  • Develop modelling and normalisation patterns for time-series, event, alarm, measurement and file-based data-while preserving traceability across sources.
  • Work closely with initiatives across IoT, intelligent substations, SCADA replacement, enterprise asset management and analytics platforms to align delivery with governance.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong enterprise data architecture experience, including conceptual, logical and canonical data modelling.
  • Proven capability in metadata, lineage management, source-to-target mapping and data quality.
  • Experience designing reusable data products with standards and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to translate fragmented OT source structures into business-meaningful, consistent models.
  • Confidence collaborating across architecture, engineering, operations and data teams-communicating clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, shaping practical solutions and challenging constructively to drive consistency.
