A strong Data Analyst is required to work on the Data Transformation workstream. With modern data-driven digital capabilities, a small team of Data experts are required to analyse existing system datasets spread across multiple system instances, in order to help identify and address data issues and to shape target datasets and structures for the future.

Core focus of the role:

  • Define and validate meaning and shape of target datasets
  • Quantify data quality issues
  • Turn data anomalies into agreed business rules with stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • Assess completeness, validity, consistency, uniqueness, interpret what issues mean operationally/clinically.
  • Contribute to defining entities, relationships, and the minimum viable dataset aligned to the target schema.
  • Help to map legacy fields to target data dictionary definitions, identify ambiguous usage and propose standard definitions.
  • Analyse duplicates/conflicts/missing data and propose resolution options while documenting any trade-offs.
  • Work with SMEs/BSOs/Trusts to agree handling of anomalies and confirm business meaning.
  • Produce clear, decision-ready outputs (issue summaries, dashboards, reconciliation lists, sign-off packs).
  • Experience with tools like PowerBI for reporting/visualisation of analytical findings.
  • Create readable analytical notes detailing methods.
