Project summary:
The Collateral Lending project aims to create a harmonized data store and automated reporting process for collateral data across the lending business in the Investment Bank (ex. Corporate) and Markets. Data systems and processes are fragmented today across business, credit risk and finance. The project will largely leverage existing systems (in-house and 3rd party) to build out a strategic future target state aligned to its enterprise data platform strategy.
The business analysts would:
- Ascertain and quantify the data gaps between key credit risk and business/finance systems to provide meaningful data and information to drive the right solution for the project - Data analysis BA
- Understand and document the key requirements and come up with the right Technology solution by closely working with Technology leads and Risk, Finance and Business SMEs associated with the project - Requirements and Design BA
The key deliverables of this project for the 'design and planning' phase is to finalize the Technology design solution and delivery plan.
Key skill sets/experience:
- Significant UK experience in front-to-back Technology transformation within Investment Banking or Markets
- Strong understanding and experience working in the Credit Risk/Collateral space
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and drive creative solutions from out of box thinking
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with cross-functional set of stakeholders
- Exposure to and knowledge of credit risk, Investment Bank Lending, finance systems would be an advantage
