We are engaging an Asset Manager to support UK public sector customers within a large, enterprise technology environment. This role focuses on Installed Base accuracy, lifecycle management, and licensing governance across enterprise hardware and software estates. It is a delivery-focused, customer-facing role, operating within established enterprise frameworks.

You will be responsible for maintaining an accurate, trusted view of a customer's Installed Base, ensuring that asset, licensing, and coverage data correctly reflects the live environment. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will enable informed lifecycle, compliance, and renewal decisions by ensuring asset data is clean, current, and actionable. This role sits within a structured Asset Management / Lifecycle Operations function and is delivered as a PAYE consulting engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and govern an accurate Installed Base (IB) view of hardware and software
  • Reconcile customer data, discovery data, and enterprise system records
  • Manage ongoing asset updates through Move / Add / Change / Delete (MACD) processes
  • Support Smart Account and licensing structures, ensuring correct organisation and ownership
  • Produce lifecycle, coverage, and compliance insight for regular customer reviews
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for Installed Base and asset-related topics
  • Support buying programs and renewals by ensuring data quality and readiness
Required Experience
  • Experience in IT Asset Management, Installed Base, Licensing, or Lifecycle Operations
  • Exposure to enterprise environments or comparable enterprise technology estates
  • Strong data reconciliation and analytical capability (Excel essential)
  • Confidence engaging directly with customers and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to operate independently within a structured enterprise delivery model
Security & Engagement Details
  • Must be eligible for and able to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
  • PAYE employed consulting role
  • Initial 12-month engagement
  • 40 hours per week
