Role Description
Accountable for the day-to-day support and running of client's Citrix estate.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Citrix infrastructures (CVAD 2402 LTSR and CVAD 2507 LTSR)
- Provide 3rd level support to Windows 10/11 and Windows 2016/19 and Windows 2022/25 platforms
- Experience of maintaining and implementing Hyper-V and SCVMM
- Maintain and support Citrix Netscaler hardware appliances
- Maintain and support Citrix Storefront
- Maintain and support Citrix Provisioning Server
- Good knowledge of PVS versioning and updating Citrix Images
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server and applying SQL patches
Qualifications and Experience
- CCA certified or higher on XenApp or XenDesktop
- Working environment experience: XenApp, XenDesktop, SCCM/Manage Engine, Windows 10/11 and Server 2016 - Current
- Familiar with virtualisation platforms (Hyper-V)
- Practical experience of medium size (and larger) client server environments
- Ability to troubleshoot 3rd line support issues
- Experience of backup and change management processes
- Familiar with a working knowledge of MS Office, O365 and Visio
- Experience of and applies skills and experience to new situations
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and able to communicate at all levels, technical and non-technical
- Able to prepare and deliver management briefings
- Logical and rational approach to problems
- Able to gather and analyse information
- Good documentation skills
- Able to understand and articulate complex ideas
- Able to determine service impacts and risks
