Location: Wokingham Hybrid - 60 Remote/40 Office

Duration: 6 months via Umbrella

Rate: £440p/d via Umbrella

Clearance: Must Hold Active SC Clearance

Job Purpose

Provide database support for Oracle and SQL Server databases within the CNI Infrastructure estate.

Experience Required

  • Oracle 12-19C Database Administration
  • Oracle 12-19C RAC Administration
  • Oracle ASM
  • Oracle RMAN
  • Oracle GoldenGate
  • UNIX experience, to include basic administration and KSH Shell Scripting
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • MS SQL Server
  • ITIL (equivalent, or experience working in an environment with Change/Release Management processes)
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communication including the writing and reviewing of technical documentation

Desired Experience

  • Proven customer facing experience in an IT service role
  • Proven methodical and positive approach to problem solving
  • Experience of working effectively as an individual, or as part of a highly motivated small to medium sized teams in an Infrastructure/Application ITIL based support environment
  • Experience of supporting business critical Real Time systems, ensuring high levels of availability through your direct actions
  • Demonstration of accountability to see issues through to successful resolutions
  • Experience of working a 2nd line Out Of Hours support rota, site attendance may be required
