Job Description
Role Title: Cisco Telephony & Video Conferencing Team Lead
Duration: contract to run until 31/12/2027
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Fully onsite, 5 days per week
Rate: up to £869.40 p/d Umbrella inside IR35
Clearance required: Active SC Clearance and Sole UK National
Role purpose/summary
- Advanced knowledge & Hands on Cisco video conferencing (CMS, Expressways, B2B, MRA)
- Advanced knowledge & Hands on Cisco VC Endpoints different models (Room, SX,personal, EQ, Webex & Board series)
- Advanced knowledge & Hands on room peripherals (room navigators,barco, Displays)
- Advanced knowledge of video codecs & Encryption algorithms
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Telephony (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, Cisco SBS, TRP)
- Good knowledge of licensing models & certificates.
- Good knowledge of SIP/H323 protocols, security as well as system administration.
- Knowledge of VMware
- CCNP Voice
- Team Management/People Skills etc
Responsibilities:
- Resolve Level 2 Telephony/Video Conferencing Oriented Incidents
- Support hardware or application tshooting.
- Respond to customer escalations
- Participate in Telephony/Videoconferencing Projects
- Assist the operations teams on an ad hoc basis.
- Ensure the sanity of the Telephony/Videoconferencing infrastructure.
- Management of the local team and sharing of skills.
- Vendor & L3 escalations when needed.
