Job Description

Job title: Dynamics 365 CRM Developer

Contract: 20 days

Location: London (Onsite X5 per week)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled SC cleared Dynamics 365 CRM Developer to deliver a new CRM system which will be a new Dynamics cloud service. This includes system and environment configuration, customisation, and integration. The successful candidate will work from a defined set of requirements and use cases to deliver a fully functional solution that supports contact and interaction management, integrates with Outlook and SharePoint, and enforces robust security and access controls. They will work closely with a member of our internal team providing guidance and knowledge transfer throughout the project to ensure they can maintain and enhance the system post-implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering all aspects of a Dynamics 365 CRM implementation on a greenfield location.
  • Translate business requirements into the required configuration, customisation and overall layout of Dynamics to turn an out-of-the-box set of generic components into a customised business tool.
  • Customise objects, forms and general layout as required to deliver to the requirements.
  • Set up and manage contact records, interaction tracking, and Outlook email integration.
  • Design and implement security roles, business units, and access controls to ensure appropriate data visibility across teams.
  • Work collaboratively with an internal team member, providing coaching, documentation, and hands-on knowledge transfer to build internal capability.
  • Develop workflows, dashboards, and reports to support stakeholder engagement and operational insight.
  • Ensure the system is maintainable and adaptable for future enhancements by the internal team.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience delivering full life cycle Dynamics 365 CRM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Outlook/Exchange for email tracking and activity logging.
  • In-depth understanding of the Dynamics 365 security model, including:

o Role-based access control

o Business unit hierarchies

o Team and user-level permissions

o Field-level security

  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and support knowledge transfer to nonexpert users.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse, data modelling, and entity relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and supportive working style.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 security integration.
  • Ability to plan and schedule the full deliverable requirement and track progress against that plan.
  • Experience in setting up associated project products such as development and production environments and advise on release and change control.
  • Ability to produce clear, comprehensive documentation of the system's configuration and customisations to support internal maintenance and future development.
