User Researcher (AI & GenAI)
Location: Remote within the UK (occasional travel as required)
- Must be a UK National
- Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency required
- Contract: Up to £420 per day
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (TBC)
We're hiring for a reputed client, supporting the DWP to explore innovative AI and Generative AI opportunities that genuinely address real business challenges. If you enjoy getting close to users, translating insights into clear recommendations, and shaping the early direction of projects-this role is for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct user research to uncover stakeholder and user needs
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and working groups with business stakeholders
- Gather, analyse, and document business and user requirements
- Identify where AI and GenAI can meaningfully help solve business challenges
- Turn research findings into actionable insights and recommendations
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including business analysts, designers, architects, data specialists, and delivery teams
- Produce high-quality research artefacts, reports, findings, and recommendations
- Support project initiation by helping define scope, objectives, and requirements
- Present research outputs and findings to senior stakeholders
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience working as a User Researcher
- Strong capability in gathering and documenting requirements
- Experience planning and facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Experience producing research outputs and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
