You'll work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and business teams to define strategy, drive best practices, and ensure successful delivery of cloud-native solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and govern enterprise-scale cloud and data architectures on AWS.Define architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across cloud platforms.Lead architecture activities covering:Data PlatformsAPIsMicroservicesEvent-Driven ArchitecturesServerless SolutionsProvide technical leadership to engineering, DevOps, and data teams.Drive cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.Lead architecture reviews, assurance activities, and design governance.Support performance optimisation, operational resilience, and cost management initiatives.Engage with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Senior Data Architect, Cloud Architect, or Solution Architect.Strong AWS expertise across services including:EC2LambdaS3RDSDynamoDBIAMVPCCloudFrontExperience designing scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures.Strong understanding of:Data ArchitectureData PlatformsCloud MigrationApplication ModernisationMicroservicesAPI-led ArchitecturesExperience implementing security controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.Desirable SkillsTerraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.AWS Well-Architected Framework.DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.GDPR, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS compliance environments.Containerisation and cloud-native application architectures.Experience leading large-scale transformation programmes.What We're Looking ForYou’ll be a strategic and hands-on architect who can combine deep AWS expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
