Business Analyst - Website Operating Model

3-Month Initial Contract | Likely Extensions | Inside IR35 | Mostly Remote

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major digital transformation programme focused on defining and enhancing a Website Operating Model. This role will play a key part in understanding current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering a range of critical discovery and analysis outputs.

This opportunity is ideal for a Business Analyst with strong experience across website projects, digital operating models, customer journey mapping, and BPMN process modelling.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Website Operating Model projects
  • Strong BPMN process modelling experience
  • Requirements elicitation and documentation, including:
    • Functional requirements
    • Non-functional requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
  • Experience documenting and analysing current-state and future-state processes
  • Experience working on website builds, website transformation projects, or digital operating models
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Key Deliverables

You will be responsible for producing and supporting the following outputs:

  • BPMN process maps
  • Website journey inventory
  • Website analytics findings and insights
  • High‑level requirements catalogue
  • Functional and non‑functional requirement themes
  • Current‑state customer journey maps
  • Future‑state customer journey maps
  • Stakeholder workshop outputs
  • Prioritisation recommendations
  • Discovery findings and recommendations report

Desirable Experience

  • Utilities or water industry experience
  • Experience working within large‑scale enterprise digital transformation programmes
  • Knowledge of website governance and operating models
