Job Duties
- Deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with IBDP (up to HL), IAL, AP, and IGCSE curricula.
- Plan, adapt, and tailor lesson content to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Develop effective teaching materials, assignments, and practice assessments.
- Monitor and analyse student performance, providing clear and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Communicate professionally with parents and the Chief Instructor regarding academic progress and development.
- Build positive student–teacher relationships to support a motivating and productive learning environment.
- Support centre operations when required, including lesson scheduling and basic administrative tasks.
- Teach both in-person and online classes as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Mathematics concepts.
- Experience teaching international curricula such as IBDP, IGCSE, AP, IAL/A-Levels (ability to teach IBDP HL is highly desirable).
- Proven experience preparing students for external examinations (e.g. IBDP, IGCSE, AP, A-Levels, ACT, SSAT, SAT), with evidence of student improvement preferred.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches and assignments to individual learning needs.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Patient, responsible, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for education.
- Committed to students' academic progress and personal development.
