We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Team Lead with strong Microsoft Azure expertise to support and coordinate the DevOps function. This role combines technical engineering responsibilities with day-to-day team leadership, ensuring efficient delivery and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, requiring active contribution within the Azure environment while organizing and guiding the DevOps team.

Experience: 8–12+ Years

Key Responsibilities

  • Azure Engineering & Platform Development
    • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure
    • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
    • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, preferably using Azure DevOps
    • Support platform security, governance, and cost optimization
    • Participate in complex troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Azure Platform Management
    • Ensure Azure environments are secure, scalable, and highly available
    • Maintain best practices across: Networking, Identity & Access Management, Monitoring, Security
    • Review technical implementations and maintain engineering standards
    • Collaborate with Technical Leads on architectural improvements
  • Team Leadership
    • Coordinate and prioritize daily DevOps activities
    • Translate platform strategy into actionable tasks
    • Conduct stand-ups and planning sessions
    • Remove delivery blockers
    • Mentor and support DevOps engineers
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to modernize Azure environments
    • Increase automation and reduce manual operations
    • Improve monitoring and observability
    • Enhance platform reliability and performance

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure production environments
  • Deep understanding of Azure services: Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security, Monitoring
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience mentoring or leading engineers
  • Strong organizational and delivery skills
