Location: Our head office is based in central Guildford where this role will be based (hybrid working available). Carroll House, 11 Quarry Street, Guildford.

Hours: 15 hours a week

Annual Leave: FTE 33 days a year.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase invoices and staff & volunteer expenses claims.
  • Issuing sales invoices.
  • Recording incoming funds on shared logging systems.
  • Processing daily bank reconciliations.
  • Maintaining and updating petty cash receipts and payments.
  • Issuing statements to aged debtors on a monthly basis.
  • To assist Finance team in the course of their duties.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate accounting experience and working with databases e.g. Excel.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong administration experience.
  • Experience in handling payroll, knowledge of Staffology Payroll preferred.
  • Experience using Xero.
  • Qualification (e.g. AAT, CIMA, ACCA, etc) in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field preferred.

All applicants must be aged 18 and above, with the right to work in the UK, be willing to provide suitable reference and undertake a DBS check. The initial cost of the DBS will be paid for by halow.
