Location: Our head office is based in central Guildford where this role will be based (hybrid working available).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Salary: £24,877
Annual Leave: 33 days pro-rata, inclusive of bank holidays.
Training: You will receive fully paid training supplementing any previously completed relevant training, with further development opportunities also available to progress your role and career.
We are seeking an Administrator to work within our learning programme, Building Futures, to proactively deliver first class administrative support. This role is vital in enabling the team to deliver our educational services and provide support to adults with learning disabilities and autism across Surrey.
Responsibilities
- Supporting management with event booking and planning
- Supporting staff rota planning and holiday requests
- Organising department expenses and receipts for payment by accounts department
- Supporting the onboarding and induction of new team members
- Document management and maintaining digital databases
- Dealing with queries on phone and by email
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking rooms/venues
- Taking minutes at meetings
Requirements
Essential
- Experience of working in an administration support role
- Understanding of health and safety
- Organised and trustworthy with excellent problem solving skills
- Aged 18 and above
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Desirable
- Understanding of learning disabilities
- Business Administration qualification
This position is subject to a basic DBS check and suitable references. The initial cost of the DBS application will be paid for by halow.
