Building on our success, our sister company, Experienced Solar & EV Solutions (ESEV), enables us to deliver renewable technologies and provide customers with a complete energy management offering. As we continue our growth journey, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven New Business Development Manager to play a key role in expanding our customer base, developing strategic partnerships and delivering outstanding value to our clients.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is a senior sales position with a primary focus on generating new business and driving revenue growth across Experienced Energy Solutions (EES) and Experienced Solar & EV Solutions (ESEV). This is a proactive, front-line sales role suited to an individual who thrives on identifying opportunities, building relationships and winning new customers. Through networking, referrals, prospecting, social media engagement and strategic partnerships, the New Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term commercial relationships. Whilst the role includes the management and development of customer relationships, the principal objective is to deliver sustained new business growth and support the continued expansion of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, prospect and secure new B2B opportunities across SME and Industrial & Commercial sectors.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve growth targets.
- Generate leads through networking events, referrals, LinkedIn, cold outreach and market research.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Convert inbound enquiries and self-generated leads into profitable customers.
- Develop relationships with strategic partners to create additional revenue opportunities.
- Promote and cross-sell energy, Solar PV and EV solutions.
- Deliver and exceed agreed sales and margin targets.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management through the CRM system.
- Produce accurate quotations and proposals within agreed timescales.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract completion.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and market developments.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with customers to maximise retention and customer lifetime value.
- Identify opportunities for contract renewals and additional services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience through effective collaboration with internal teams.
- Work closely with the Sales Support team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners.
- Share knowledge and best practice across the business.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry developments and market trends.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially focused sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business and delivering sustainable revenue growth. You will be an energetic self-starter who enjoys developing opportunities, opening doors and building strong relationships. You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own pipeline and taking ownership of achieving ambitious sales targets.

- Proven ability to generate and convert new opportunities.
