Part of the Experience Education Group, SkiBound has specialized in school and adult group travel for over 40 years. As well as our locally run hotels, SkiBound operate ClubHotels which are exclusive properties run by Skibound English speaking staff. Our ClubHotels offer a relaxed and social atmosphere to ensure that groups receive a friendly, fun, value for money holiday. The ClubHotels are situated in 3 resorts across the French Alps. All our resorts offer something different, from traditional French charm to the more lively and cosmopolitan mainstream snow sports destinations. In addition to our ClubHotels we use local (3rd party run) hotels also. These offer 7 day contracted weeks ad hoc through the season, or in some hotels large scale contracted commitment across the entire season and all the beds available on site. Our clients travel mainly from the UK by plane and some via coach.
Key purpose: To assist in set up, day to day running, and close down of the French Skibound Clubhotels operations program, achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and profitability. You will understand the objectives of SkiBound and the product we deliver. To manage the transport operation of clients liaising with suppliers for planning and confirmation of coaches and any staff transport. Remaining available for any complications on transfer day. Reporting to the senior country managers, including GM and Accountant you will visit units as necessary and support the operations staff in achieving their objectives and NPS requirements. The operations supervisor’s job description can cover a broad spectrum of main tasks that are dictated through the needs of the business on a daily basis and overall business objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Financial: Achieve personal and program financial objectives through income revenue generation and expenditure control. Ensure ski-pack sales and après ski opportunities are fully exploited. Manage supplier relationships ensuring best cost vs delivery is achieved. Develop and report any other income generation ideas. Assist with relevant purchases to enhance with the operations delivery. Ensure the correct management of ski pack purchases and reimbursements. Organize the transport operation for the weekly transfers of clients to and from resort, liaising with coach companies and maintaining minimum cost. Input costs into our reporting system as they come in across the season.
- Systems: Monitor operations financial expenditure, paperwork and monies as required. Ensure operations resort set up and close down is achieved correctly. Monitor hotel/activity safety audits in co-operation with senior managers and HS. Sign off operations and transport invoices ensuring they are appropriate and accurate, with regards to contracts and orders. Ensure that all operations paperwork and documentation is correctly displayed and produced. Ensure client and staff medicals are handled quickly and appropriately in line with company policy in co-ordination with operations administrator.
- HR: Participate in delivery of operations training at season start. Deliver staff PDU / PDP appraisals in accordance with senior managers where required. Assist with personnel HR issues where needed. Assist with staff transport if required. Monitor and manage staff hours in accordance and with the assistance of the HR team.
- Operations: Organise Airport duties taking responsibility for on-site airport issues/management where needed each Saturday. In co-ordination with senior managers liaise with UK for group information and prepare for group arrival with hotel co-operation. Create standard prices schedule across program for upgrades, sales and après-ski. Ensure you build relations with clients and seek to meet with all party leaders once per week in the southern Alps sector. Liaise with ski school and lift pass companies as necessary.
- Personal: Develop in house revenues opportunities while delivering the après program. Attend weekly meeting with senior manager. Manage your own vehicle and expenses producing expenses at least once a month before the last Thursday of each month.
- Customer service: Ensure NPS targets and schools questionnaire targets are achieved. Ensure systems are in place to deliver excellent customer service. Promote the company and program. Deliver ideas on how to better improve the program within budget constraints. Ensure the transport operation runs smoothly and issues resolved promptly.

Core tools: Company vehicle for displacements in the Alps, Laptop, Telephone, Integration training, In-house Company accommodation or accommodation contribution, 39 hour per week contractual remuneration, 2 days off per week (to be taken within Monday to Friday as the weekend is operational). Full assistance with achieving a pluriannual carte de séjour to work in France for 6 months per year.
The extra bits… We ask applicants to be fully available from October 2026 to end of April 2027. You must be 21 or over to apply. Due to Brexit implications, applicants with EU documentation are preferred e.g., EU passport, French residency permit or carte de séjour.
