This role will be based in our Brighton office, with a hybrid working pattern that includes two days per week working from home. Remote working is however a possibility for the right candidate. We are seeking an experienced football tours professional with a strong business development mindset to support and grow the MasterClass football portfolio. This position is ideally suited to someone already working within the football travel or sports tours industry who understands the market, the stakeholders and the commercial landscape. If you currently operate within football tour delivery, academy fixture coordination, grassroots football travel or sports event management — and are looking to join a well-established specialist brand — we would be keen to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and delivering high-quality UK and overseas football tours and events
- Proactively generating new business opportunities within schools, clubs and football organisations
- Building and developing relationships within the football sector, including schools, clubs, academies and suppliers
- Hunting out new opportunities for football growth within the MasterClass brand
- Using your existing industry knowledge to ensure smooth operational delivery from enquiry through to tour completion
- Supporting the commercial growth of our football portfolio
- Identifying opportunities to grow repeat business, referrals and multi‑year tour programmes
- Working closely with overseas partners and venues to maintain and grow our European football links
What we are looking for:
- We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with prior experience in the sports tours or football travel industry.
- Experience working within a sports tour operator, football travel company or related sports events environment ideally in a sales, account management or growth‑focused role
- A strong understanding of the football market, both grassroots and school sport
- An existing network of contacts within the football sector, with the ability to activate and develop these relationships commercially (highly desirable)
- Confidence balancing business development activity alongside repeat customer‑based account management.
- Excellent relationship‑building and organisational skills
- A proactive, opportunity‑focused mindset with the ability to spot gaps, create solutions and close business
- A passion for delivering outstanding football experiences for young players
