We are looking for a Head of Data Strategy to build, shape and implement our data strategy across EMAP. This is an exciting and important position within EMAP, managing a team of 1. You will understand our current data sets and data capabilities and measure their effectiveness and ROI across 20+ diverse markets. You will build a data strategy for each region, identifying the market opportunities, trends and competitors, and data opportunities. Experian EMAP is a challenger in these markets, using data to power software, AI, and technology to disrupt traditional models and become a market leader.

This is a hands‐on influential role. You will partner with senior leaders across each region to define a clear, forward‐looking data strategy that aligns with Experian's global vision while addressing regional market dynamics. Your remit spans consumer credit bureaus, business information bureaus, and extends to supporting product strategy for Decisioning, Identity & Fraud, and Analytics software. You will be in one of the most influential roles in driving Experian's growth and transformation in EMAP. This role will require 10% of international travel.

Qualifications

  • Management consulting experience or experience running strategic data or analytics consulting projects.
  • Extensive experience in data strategy or data management, building and executing a data strategy across global regions.
  • Experience delivering transformative data projects.
  • Understanding of Data businesses - how to measure data scale, data quality, and data economics.
  • Experience working in financial services or with credit risk solution providers, with an understanding of identity, fraud, and analytics products across the credit lifecycle.
  • Presence with Executive leaders and influencing – you will present to senior leaders across EMAP and globally.
  • Lead data projects virtually and work across diverse geographies.
  • Deep understanding of the data‐driven financial ecosystem and its role in promoting trust and growth.
  • Experience navigating regulatory environments and ensuring compliance in data governance and privacy.
  • Experience operating across multiple markets and cultures, driving consistency while adapting to local needs.
