Job Description
The purpose of this role is to lead the 2LoD Risk Reporting across the UK&I and provide oversight and challenge of Experian's risk profile, governance and risk management processes. You will act as the point of contact for their aligned business areas to provide relevant advice and independent challenge around their risk and control environment. This role reports directly into the Director of Risk and Compliance for UKI & Ireland, but you will also play a role in with the wider Global Risk Management (GRM) team.
Work that matters - what you'll be doing:
- Oversight of Risk Reporting for Risk Committees (both UK&I and Group), Board and Audit Committee Reporting support operational risk issue management, event management and risk acceptance processes, together with associated aggregation and reporting activities.
- Lead the policy and standards development and maintenance of the UK&I Operational and Conduct Risk frameworks, plus provide input and guidance into the Group Risk policies and standards changes in line with industry good practice.
- Conduct oversight and challenge of the UK&I B2B and D2C Fraud Risk profile for the UK&I ensuring alignment with Group strategies relating to Fraud.
- Provide technical direction to the business and Group Risk in relation to the enterprise wide risk system (Archer GRC) and support the implementation of associated system processes / initiatives.
- Execution of targeted operational risk assurance control reviews / testing, provide assurance over our innovative projects and reporting in accordance with broader integrated assurance plans.
Qualifications
What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian:
- An ability to produce Board and Executive level risk reports to a very high standard.
- Experience of operational risk in a second line of defence capacity with some knowledge of Fraud oversight.
- Ability to interface with senior stakeholders effectively to establish relationships and become a trusted advisor.
- Experience of changing and building and/or operating industry good practice Risk Management Frameworks.
- An ability to apply technical knowledge in a practical and balanced manner.
