Job Description
We are looking for an experienced 1LOD Risk and Control Subject Matter Expert with expertise in Commercial Risk to join our UK&I Central Control Function.
This is a hybrid role based in our Nottingham or London office reporting into our Head of Risk Operations.

Work that matters – What you\’ll do
· Reviewing commercial activities to spot trends, risks, and control gaps
· Analysing incidents and data to uncover root causes
· Advising business teams on improving risk and control effectiveness
· Producing thematic reviews and insights to influence leadership
· Help develop our 1LoD Risk Framework
· Collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and 2LoD Risk to clarify understanding
· Designing and tracking key risk indicators (KRIs)
· Sharing good practice and uplifting capability across the 1LoD
Qualifications
What you\’ll need to bring to the role & Experian
· An understanding of commercial operations such as sales, contracting, client delivery, or data licensing
· Experience in operational or commercial risk management
· With the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data
· Produce concise reports
· Confidence to advise and influence senior team members
· A curious mindset with a practical approach to solutions
