Company Description

Experian is a global data and technology company, powering opportunities for people and businesses around the world.

We operate across a range of markets, from financial services to healthcare, automotive, agribusiness, insurance, and many more.

Experian invests in people and new advanced technologies to unlock the power of data.

We have an amazing team of 25,200 people in 32 countries.

Job Description

Experian Consumer Services helps millions of UK consumers understand and improve their financial lives.

Credit scores, subscriptions, and marketplace products are the core of what we do today.

New Growth exists to build what comes next: new revenue streams and propositions that turn ECS from a credit‑score app into a broader financial wellbeing platform.

We’re looking for a Product Manager – New Bets to be part of that mission.

You will report to the Head of Product, New Growth, and shape the strategy, run experiments, and ship the roadmap.

The work sits at the intersection of product, growth, and commercial impact.

You will turn ambiguous ideas into live propositions, learn fast from real users, and help decide what we scale and what we stop.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and execution in the New Bets space.
  • Take end‑to‑end ownership of New Growth’s current
  • New

Bet: vision, roadmap, backlog, and outcomes, evolving product strategy as you learn and translating it into clear priorities quarter by quarter.

  • When a bet matures or the portfolio shifts, transition it and pick up the next one with the same standard of ownership.
  • Make trade‑offs openly: determine what moves engagement, subscription value, or new revenue, and what does not.
  • Run experiments that decide what we build, designing and delivering structured experiment programmes: GTM choices, product mechanics, habit and retention tests.
  • Define hypotheses and success metrics with analytics, read results honestly and recommend what goes to BAU, moving quickly without cutting corners on customer experience or regulatory requirements.
  • Ship customer experiences that people come back for, owning in‑app journeys and the surrounding surfaces (email, CRM, subscription benefits) that make a proposition stick.
  • Work with design to turn complex financial products into experiences that feel simple and worth returning to.
  • Focus on relevance, habit, and recognition: the right value at the right moment, not a one‑off feature launch.
  • Partner with marketing and CRM on launch plans, messaging, and in‑app placement.
  • Align with the wider ECS portfolio so new bets grow the business without undermining what already works.
  • Build relationships across product, technology, compliance, and go‑to‑market so initiatives keep moving.
  • Use data from experiments and BAU performance to shape what we build next and contribute to how New Growth picks, sequences, and scales bets in the New Bets space.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Product Manager owning a customer‑facing digital product through discovery, delivery, and iteration.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to structure a fuzzy problem, test your way forward, and change course when evidence says so.
  • Strong analytical instincts: working with hypotheses, metrics, and experiment readouts.
  • Clear communication with engineers, designers, commercial stakeholders, and senior leaders.
  • Genuine curiosity about customers, markets, and what makes consumer products succeed.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working – 40% office based.
  • Great compensation package and discretionary bonus.
  • Core benefits include Pension, Bupa healthcare, Sharesave Scheme and more.
  • 25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days; additional leave can be purchased.
  • Equal Opportunity Employer Statement

Experian is also proud to be an Equal Opportunity and affirmative action employer.

If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know at the earliest opportunity.
