The Product Director is a senior product leadership role within Experian’s Consumer Business (ECS), working in close partnership with the Chief Product & Commercial Officer to shape the direction of ECS's product portfolio in response to a rapidly evolving market in which AI is reshaping consumer behaviour and the competitive landscape.
The role carries broad accountability across ECS's product portfolio, with the mandate expected to evolve as the business continues to diversify.
You will be responsible for setting and driving product strategy across this portfolio to achieve the region's revenue growth and customer strategy ambitions, ensuring our products evolve ahead of a fast-changing, AI-led market and that we win as consumer journeys move on- and off-property.
You will be a key leader within the ECS Product Community, fostering an environment where we launch market-leading, future-facing propositions at pace.
You will incorporate internal and external perspectives, including regulatory engagement, to ensure we deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.
You are required tolead in a global context, working closely with our teams in India and the UK to scale and improve ways of working across locations.
There is an expectation that this role will be highly visible across both sites, to drive optimised ways of working andultimately deliverbusiness growth.
- Core responsibilities
- Shape ECS's overall product strategy in close partnership with the Chief Product & Commercial Officer, responding to AI-driven shifts in consumer behaviour and the competitive landscape
- Define and lead product strategy and vision across ECS's coreproduct portfolio, aligned to ECS and UK&I strategic goals
- Own and deliver the product roadmap over a 12–24 monthhorizon, ensuring it is resourced and prioritised effectively
- Shape and scale the next generation of value-led, goal-based propositions and the wider diversification of ECS's product set, evolving our products from stand-alone experiences into interconnected, signal-led customer journeys
- Drive ECS's data and AI strategy as a source of competitive advantage across the product portfolio, including how we reach customers as consumer journeys extend on- and off-property
- Harness consumer-permissioned data as a strategic advantage, turning real-time signals and alerts into personalised, converting moments across the portfolio
- Lead the evolution of our Product Development operation across our global teams, driving improved collaboration
- Deliver strategic plan revenue targets through product innovation, pricing and commercial model evolution, and portfolio diversification
- Make prioritisation decisions that balance business needs, customer value, and regulatory requirements
- Build and lead a high-performing product team, working closely with Engineering, Commercial, Analytics and AI/Data functions
- Set OKRs across core product domains and collaborate across the wider ECS product portfolio to ensure consistency and alignment
