We're bringing our paid media in-house — marking a major step-change in how we improve growth — and we're looking for a Paid Performance Marketing Manager to help lead that transformation. This is a hands‑on role where you'll take ownership of our Paid Search and App acquisition strategy, shaping how you build, improve, and scale campaigns from the ground up. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, it's an opportunity for someone with a Paid Search foundation to step into true ownership — driving performance, unlocking new opportunities, and directly influencing Experian's growth.
You'll help scale the acquisition across Paid Search and App, improving efficiency, and defining best practice within a newly formed in‑house function. With visibility across the business, you'll have the chance to make your mark, challenge the status quo, and help build something from the ground up.
- Campaign Management: Manage and improve Paid Search and App campaigns across Google, Microsoft and Apple platforms. Oversee campaign setup, QA, keyword research, targeting, ad copy, budgets and pacing to meet changing demand.
- Performance Optimisation: Monitor performance daily against KPIs (CPA, ROAS), identify trends, run tests and implement optimisations while maintaining budget control in line with monthly and quarterly plans.
- Creative & Testing: Deliver a structured testing roadmap, partnering with creative, acquisition and brand teams to improve asset performance and ensure compliance.
- Reporting & Data: Produce weekly and monthly performance reports, contribute to quarterly reviews and strategic insights, and ensure tracking and tagging accuracy in collaboration with Ad Ops.
- Learning & Innovation: Test new campaign types, bid strategies and features, while staying up to date with platform updates and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Experience building, optimising and scaling performance campaigns
- Proven experience in Paid Search (Google Ads, SA360, Microsoft Ads)
- Experience managing App marketing channels (GAC / ASA)
- Experience running structured testing programmes
- Understanding of performance metrics and how to improve them
- Experience in Web and App attribution platforms with some knowledge of CM360 and MMPs (such as Appsflyer)
- Understanding of attribution models and App measurement challenges
- Commercial and performance optimisation mindset (CPA, ROAS)
