Experian Consumer Services UK&I (ECS) is the consumer division of global data and fintech group Experian. Trading & Commercial Performance
- Commercial ownership of critical KPIs including CPA, upsell, free acquisition, in-product leads and paid leads.
- Lead forecasting and performance reporting across daily, monthly, and annual cycles.
- Collaborate with finance and senior stakeholders to assess revenue impact and unlock growth opportunities.
- Provide oversight on churn metrics and support retention strategies through performance insights.
- Lead regular meetings with the team to deep-dive performance, unlock opportunities and understand the impact of strategic initiatives.
- Define and execute the customer acquisition, upsell and marketplace lead strategy across web and app.
- Drive new customer growth for free subscribers and marketplace through paid media, SEO, affiliates, and partner channels.
- Lead initiatives to understand value by customer type and channel; combining CPA and lead quality to optimise messaging and targeting.
- Champion the integration of AI and emerging technologies to enhance media efficiency and prepare for the evolving search landscape driven by LLMs.
- Partner closely with Brand, CRM, and Product Marketing to align acquisition and engagement strategies across the customer lifecycle.
Performance Media & SEO
- Oversee planning, execution, and optimisation of paid media campaigns (PPC, social, affiliates).
- Manage day-to-day agency relationships and multi-million pound performance media budget, ensuring ROI and strategic alignment.
- Lead the SEO and LLM growth strategy, driving organic visibility and traffic through best-in-class optimisation, content and technical practices and prepare for the impact of LLMs on search behaviour and visibility.
- Own the logged-out experience of Experian.co.uk, managing over 200 consumer pages.
- Ensure the site delivers a best-in-class customer experience and supports product comprehension and engagement.
- Lead quarterly optimisation roadmaps across web and app, supporting all logged in and non-logged in pages, to drive commercial outcomes.
- Drive a multi-product, cross channel experimentation and optimisation strategy that delivers sustained significant revenue growth and measured feature releases.
- Lead ECS’s personalisation strategy, embedding data-driven targeting across the ecosystem.
- Evolve enablement in line with market best practice and embed solutions within Marketing teams; ensure predictive data attributes and machine learning models are used to deliver best-in-class personalised experiences across all customer touchpoints.
- Drive experimentation across NPD, feature releases, and customer journeys.
- Define toolsets and agile practices for testing, working closely with tech and product teams.
- Build and inspire a high-performing team across acquisition, SEO, affiliates, eCommerce, and optimisation.
- Own strategic relationships with agencies and suppliers, ensuring value, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Drive operational excellence, talent development, and innovation within the performance marketing function.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through test-and-learn approaches and exploration of new channels.
Planning & Governance
- Lead quarterly planning cycles, setting clear objectives, priorities, and investment allocations.
- Ensure all activity meets regulatory and internal compliance standards, including DPIAs, LIAs, and ROPAs.
- Ensure all experimentation adheres to consent requirements and data governance standards.
- Oversee business continuity and risk mitigation for Experian.co.uk.
- Consultant and provide product support on new feature rollout releases & measurability.
- NPD experimentation across net-new areas, as well as enhancing features.
