You’ll also enhance your soft skills and learn how to provide basic technical support to users and customers.

Working with services such as AWS and programming languages such as C#, Python, .NET, CICS and COBOL, you’ll gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle. Alongside your role, you’ll study towards a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions degree provided by Nottingham Trent University.

Whilst coding is an important part of being a Software Engineer, you'll also brainstorm and develop solutions with your team, attend planning sessions and work with a variety of people across teams and in time, drive and lead technical solutions independently. You may have to translate technical work to non-technical colleagues.

Our apprenticeships are permanent opportunities, and you’ll take part in our 2 year structured Early Careers Development Programme which is packed with workshops, short-courses and online material designed to help kick-start your career.
