We are looking for an experienced Senior ICFR IT Controls Manager to help us safeguard financial reporting through IT controls on a global scale. This is an individual contributor role with a more consulting and strategic focus – intersection of technology, governance, and risk management, offering visibility and consultative guidance across our global organisation. Reporting directly to the Finance Director - Financial Controls, you will work directly with senior leaders, influence governance practices, and gain deep insight into Experian's worldwide operations.
You Will
- Lead IT Control Design & Governance Projects: Establish IT General Controls (ITGC) and Application Controls (ITAP) within our ICFR framework.
- Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of latest risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Partner Across the Business: Consult with regional CFOs, IT, finance, and audit teams to align technology and financial control requirements.
- Support Policy and Partners: Coach and guide policy owners and application teams through onboarding and compliance processes.
- Coordinate Audits & Compliance: Work with internal and external auditors to ensure timely remediation and reporting.
- Ensure Learning & Development: Lead training plans and share knowledge to embed controls into business-as-usual.
- Deliver Insights: Provide clear reporting to senior management and global partners.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISA, CISSP, ITIL, or CISM (essential); accountancy qualification (desirable).
- Experience: Extensive experience in IT risk, ICFR frameworks, and regulatory compliance including consulting and managing projects.
- Audit, risk management, or compliance experience in a multinational environment (Big 4 preferred).
- Technical knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), cloud platforms, and cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with finance systems and global financial processes.
- Prior experience working with internal and external auditors and managing global partners.
- Experience in process walkthroughs, control identification, design and effectiveness testing, and root cause analysis.
