We are looking for an experienced Junior Buyer to join our Procurement team on a 6 month fixed term basis. Reporting to the Lead Procurement Manager, you will be partnering with the business, primarily Experian Consumer Services, managing marketing and media spend and BPO.

Responsibilities:
  • Run a competitive tender process with multiple vendors using our sourcing platform.
  • Engage and negotiate complex commercial and legal contract terms.
  • Collaboration with our Procurement Legal representatives and in-house solicitors to assess risk amongst contracts on behalf of Experian.
  • Maintain auditable records.
  • Actively engage with wider and global procurement teams on process engineering activities and using technology to drive automation where possible, including the use of AI tools.
Qualifications:
  • Procurement experience, ideally in a regulated environment. Any marketing or media procurement experience is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of UK contract law.
  • A confident and experienced negotiator with experience in handling detailed negotiations.
  • Experience building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with legal teams and solicitors.
  • Any exposure to AI is beneficial.
