Experian is a global data and technology company, powering opportunities for people and businesses around the world. We operate across a range of markets, from financial services to healthcare, automotive, agribusiness, insurance, and many more. Experian invests in people and new advanced technologies to unlock the power of data.
Experian Consumer Services helps millions of UK consumers understand and improve their financial lives. Credit scores, subscriptions, and marketplace products are the core of what we do today. We are now building the next chapter: product experiences that use AI to help people reach the financial goals that actually matter to them.
We're looking for a Product Manager – AI Experiences to own that work. Reporting into Head of Product, you will shape the strategy and ship the roadmap in a space where the technology is moving faster than the playbook. The work sits at the intersection of product, data, and emerging technology. You will turn ambiguous ideas into live experiences that customers trust and keep evolving them.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the product end to end.
- Take ownership of AI-powered experiences that help customers make progress towards financial goals: vision, roadmap, backlog, and outcomes.
- Evolve product strategy as the technology and the customer need change, and translate that into clear priorities quarter by quarter.
- Make trade-offs openly: what helps customers move forward, what they return for, and what does not.
- Turn emerging technology into products people trust.
- Translate what AI can do into customer problems worth solving - not technology for its own sake.
- Work with design and engineering so complex financial decisions feel simple, personal, and explainable.
- Stay close enough to the tech to ask good questions, challenge assumptions, and keep learning.
- Think critically about how these products work today, and how they will need to work as the technology changes.
- Build while the technology is still moving.
- Ship real product in a space where capabilities, tools, and customer expectations are changing quickly.
- Keep a point of view on how these products should work today, and how they will need to work next.
- Move with pace without cutting corners on customer experience, trust, or regulatory requirements.
- Work across the business to make it land.
- Work closely with data science, engineering, and compliance so what we ship is useful, responsible, and feasible.
- Align with the wider Consumer Services portfolio so new experiences grow the business without undermining what already works.
- Build relationships across product, technology, and go-to-market so initiatives keep moving.
- Learn, document, and raise the bar.
- Keep product documentation and decision records clear enough that the team and stakeholders stay aligned.
- Use what you learn from customers and live performance to shape what we build next.
- Help the team get better at building AI-powered products as the technology and the work expand.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Product Manager owning a customer-facing digital product through discovery, delivery, and iteration.
- Experience working within a customer facing or direct to consumer environment is essential.
- Comfort with ambiguity: you can structure a fuzzy problem, test your way forward, and change course when the evidence says so.
- Strong judgement: you can help define what matters most to customers and how to work with engineers and data scientists to deliver experiences that delight.
- Genuine curiosity about customers, markets, and how technology is changing what products can do.
- Evidence you learn quickly. We are not hiring for a finished "AI PM". We are hiring for someone who can get there.
Additional Information:
- Benefits package includes hybrid working - 40% office based.
- Great compensation package and discretionary bonus.
- Core benefits include Pension, Bupa healthcare, Sharesave Scheme and more.
- 25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days. You can purchase additional annual leave.
- Our uniqueness is that we celebrate yours. Experian's people first, inclusive and purpose driven culture is multi award-winning; World's Best Workplaces™ 2025 (Fortune Global Top 25), Great Place To Work™ in 26 countries to name a few.
- Experian is also proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
