This is a high-impact opportunity to influence core affordability and credit risk capabilities in a global organization. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li hybrid working (2 days in London) /li li pension /li li bupa healthcare /li li sharesave scheme /li li 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + 3 volunteering days /li li discretionary bonus /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Own and maintain the total product backlog for the Affordability domain, ensuring it is well-formed and delivered promptly /li li Prioritize work against the domain roadmap based on value, user needs, compliance, and feasibility /li li Contribute to domain strategy and ensure alignment with Experian’s corporate goals /li li Coordinate with cross-department partners to maintain a clear product/tech roadmap /li li Act as escalation point for product-related issues across the domain /li li Lead end-to-end backlog management for the dedicated Scrum team /li li Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria /li li Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives while upholding Agile principles /li li Make prioritisation decisions to keep the team unblocked /li li Set the standard for product ownership within the domain and serve as a role model for others /li li Lead and line-manage Product Owners across the domain /li li Promote and coach the use of AI in daily product ownership /li li Provide coaching on backlog management, story writing, stakeholder engagement and prioritisation /li li Establish and enforce standards for definition of ready/done, story quality, acceptance criteria, roadmap and release communication /li li Support recruitment, onboarding, development plans, objective setting and performance conversations /li li Foster a collaborative culture where Product Owners share problems and solutions across squads /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Extensive experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments /li li Experience leading or line-managing Product Owners or similar roles /li li Background in financial services or FinTech, especially lending, credit risk or affordability /li li Track record of improving delivery quality and pace across multiple teams /li li Experience with distributed/offshore development teams /li li Analytical skills and data-driven decision making /li li Experience in regulated environments with compliance, legal and risk collaboration /li li Experience with Open Banking, bureau data or credit risk decisioning is advantageous /li /ul ul li Leadership and people management /li li Stakeholder engagement and communication /li li Coaching and mentoring /li li Agile backlog management and sprint ceremonies /li li End-to-end product ownership /li li User story writing and acceptance criteria /li /ul
