As the Head of Sales Operations UK&I, you will drive operational execution improvement through definition, development, and evolution of operational processes to run the GTM organisation across the UK. Your main duties will include:
- Sales Process – Definition, adoption, and enhancement of the UK Sales Process.
- Management Information - Create MI that leads to sales performance improvement and productivity.
- CRM adoption & sales data quality – Ensure wide data quality.
- Lead team of Ops Partners to support Sales Directors with execution and performance improvement.
- Create, sustain and shape a culture that promotes openness, integrity and accountability within the team and across the business.
Accountabilities:
- Team leadership and development of a team of MI analysts, process specialists and operations business partners.
- Implement a communication plan to position the function as a centre of operational execution excellence.
- Make enhancements to the sales process to drive increased velocity through the New, Upsell, Renewal opportunity types.
- Ensure the sales process is documented and all teams are trained.
- Drive the deployment of standard sales methodologies across the region.
- Develop a standardised MI suite across the region.
- Focus areas include: Balanced Scorecard / KPI regime, Sales Performance, Data quality, Pipeline outlook.
- Evangelise region change requirements and influence non-GTM stakeholders to drive tool and global process upgrades.
- Leverage best practice from across the industry and internally from other regions.
- Ensure data is of high enough quality to support decision making.
- Be a sales SME in enterprise-wide transformation programs, partnering with other departments to optimise all elements of the customer journey.
- Identify areas of opportunity for GTM leaders to drive performance, for example through individual/team sales pipeline building, education/training opportunities to deliver improved sales win rates, and other areas.
- Highlight areas of risk and propose mitigation to ensure optimal sales execution.
Qualifications
- Experience managing sales operations.
- Proven experience in a sales / revenue operations function, or similar in a Technology related business.
- Experience driving enhancements to sales processes.
- Experience creating MI reports to identify areas for performance improvement.
