Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to provide financial insight, analysis, and support for strategic and operational decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for assigned departments.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights and present to non-financial stakeholders.
- Support investment appraisals, business cases, and scenario modelling.
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting tools.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions and influencing outcomes.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering or commercial finance role.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills combined with experience communicating to a diverse audience.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to solving problems
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
