Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Operations Lead to join our Cyber Fusion Center (CFC). This leadership role manages programmes, ensures compliance, improves workflows, and represents the CFC to client auditors and regulators. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Cyber Forensics and Threat Hunting.
Important Responsibilities
- Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure operational activities align with organisational policies, regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Support audit readiness, compliance documentation and evidence collection for internal and external reviews.
- Represent the Cyber Fusion Centre during audits, assessments and compliance reviews.
- Strategic Operations & Governance
- Define operational governance models, leadership cadences, risk reviews and performance tracking.
- Improve programmes across CFC workflows, tooling and reporting to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Data-Driven Insights & Metrics
- Define and report on indicators and operational metrics to measure performance, identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Develop dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) to visualise incident metrics, threat trends and operational health.
- Create forecasting and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impact of process changes.
- Coordinate automation of metric reporting dashboards with CFC leadership and tower leaders.
- Partner Engagement & Communication
- Deliver executive-level briefings and client engagement materials to showcase CFC capabilities.
- Present the Cyber Fusion Center\’s services, capabilities, and incident management workflows to internal departments and newly acquired organisations:
- Support M&A integration efforts.
- Facilitate integration between cyber, physical and threat intelligence teams for a unified threat response.
- Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and operational discipline across the organisation.
- Contribute to the strategic development and continuous improvement of CFC service offerings, incorporating latest technologies and evolving threat landscapes.
- Build partnerships with teams, leaders and external partners to support collaboration, integration and operational success.
- Consult with teams to build onboarding documentation, training roadmaps and performance metrics.
- Help redesign internal knowledge bases and process documentation.
- Translate technical process documents into layman’s terms.
- Coordinate procurement activities for tools and services required by CFC functions.
- Manage budget planning and tracking in collaboration with CFC leadership.
- Occasional domestic or international travel for training, strategic planning sessions, audit meetings or project execution.
Qualifications
- Experience in business operations, programme management or cybersecurity operations with audit & consultancy background.
- CISSP, CISM or similar cyber‑related qualifications.
- Technical Skills
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and concepts (SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, incident response workflows).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Excel, Power BI).
- Collaboration & Documentation: SharePoint, xWiki, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, OneNote.
- ServiceNow, Jira.
- PowerShell, Python scripting for automation and reporting.
- Awareness of AI/ML applications in cybersecurity operations.
- Operational Skills
- Driving operational efficiency and process improvement across operations, with proficiency in data analysis and finance management to support projects and growth.
- Technical writing, process documentation and training procedures.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA and CIS Controls.
- Experience supporting or representing teams during audit engagements and compliance assessments.
