Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Experian\’s Go To Market division as an Business Development Manager within the HRDI Team. A dynamic new business focused role across a number of key Experian Business sectors.

The role of the BDM is to achieve revenue targets through the penetration (product growth) of new and existing customers via field sales. They have responsibility for driving financial growth through new business generation.

This is an exciting role that will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to shape our presence across markets as well develop our employment services business by identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities. This role would be an ideal step for someone who has some sales experience looking for that exciting next career move and loves to win.

Why this role?

You will have experience but not essential in selling to Human Resources Managers. You will have access to a portfolio of customers, who are managed by existing account managers, you will look for new opportunities to cross and upsell products from within our HRDI portfolio but you will also have an eye for new business in green field organisations.

The successful candidate will join a fantastic, supportive team where we collectively to achieve our team and individual targets. All working towards a single sales objective of being number one in the industry.

You will consult and partner with Account Managers, Product and Delivery teams to ensure that we win business and deliver solutions that meet and exceed the needs you\’ve uncovered in your Clients and Prospects.

You\’ll be responsible for:

  • Growing our existing revenue streams.
  • Identifying key contacts within existing accounts and upselling accordingly.
  • Growing new revenue by winning new logo business and new from existing Clients.
  • Lead generation and increasing our stakeholder network.
  • Exceed your monthly & annual revenue targets.
  • Increasing the Experian brand through networking and thought leadership.
  • Accurately record pipeline and forecast information in our Salesforce CRM system.
  • Effectively managing stakeholder relationships across the business with excellent communication skills.

More about you

You\’ll succeed in this role by understanding how Experian\’s employment solutions can meet the needs of our Clients and be able to create and develop trusting relationships with senior contacts in Target organisations. You will have an ability to work to your own initiative and shepherd Account Managers within other areas to drive your sales activities and challenge stakeholders.

You will be able to demonstrate listening and questioning skills to uncover and shape requirements. You will be able to communicate how Experian\’s solutions meet the needs of Clients in a concise and easy to understand manner.

You will need to be confident, ambitious, driven, organised and resilient.
