We operate across a range of markets, from financial services to healthcare, automotive, agribusiness, insurance, and many more. Experian invests in people and new advanced technologies to unlock the power of data. We have an amazing team of 25,200 people in 32 countries.

As our Marketing Insight Manager in our Consumer Services function, you'll play a pivotal role in owning the insight agenda for our brand and marketing activity, shaping what we need to learn, why it matters, and how those insights influence brand strategy, campaigns and business decisions. Working closely with the Brand Marketing team, you'll turn customer, brand and market understanding into actionable recommendations that improve performance and drive growth.

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong technical expertise in marketing insight. You'll bring experience working with established consumer brands, leading brand tracking programmes, evaluating campaign effectiveness and translating complex data into compelling stories that influence senior stakeholders. You'll be equally comfortable asking the right questions, challenging assumptions and ensuring insight leads to action.

What you'll own:

  • Brand insight strategy & delivery: Own the customer and brand insight agenda, ensuring research answers the most important strategic questions. Lead brand tracking, annual customer sentiment analysis, campaign evaluation and deep-dive brand analysis, moving beyond reporting to explain what has changed, why it matters and what we should do next. Lead the pre-testing process of creative concepts to help optimise and refine campaigns ahead of launch. Challenge assumptions with evidence, helping teams make customer-led decisions.
  • Customer & market understanding: Lead qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer needs, behaviours, emerging trends and market opportunities. Bring together customer, brand, market and behavioural insight to create a clear, consistent view of performance and opportunity. Manage research partners to deliver high-quality, decision-focused insights.
  • Driving impact: Work closely with Brand, Product and Analytics teams to embed insight throughout planning, proposition development and campaign execution. Use AI to accelerate insight synthesis, automate reporting and improve the speed and quality of decision-making. Communicate insight through compelling storytelling, building a more customer-led and insight-driven culture.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in marketing insight or consumer research within a major B2C brand, supporting large-scale, multi-million-pound marketing campaigns and brand strategy.
  • Proven experience leading brand tracking programmes, campaign evaluation and insight reporting, turning findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the ability to select the right approach for the question being solved.
  • Experience managing research agencies and influencing senior stakeholders through clear, evidence-based storytelling.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.
  • Demonstrable experience using AI tools to enhance research, accelerate insight synthesis and build more efficient reporting and analysis workflows.

Additional Information:

  • Benefits package includes: Hybrid working - 40% office based
  • Great compensation package and discretionary bonus
  • Core benefits include Pension, Bupa healthcare, Sharesave Scheme and more
  • 25 days annual leave with 8 bank holidays and 3 volunteering days. You can purchase additional annual leave.
  • Experian's people first, inclusive and purpose driven culture is multi award-winning; World's Best Workplaces 2025 (Fortune Global Top 25), Great Place To Work in 26 countries to name a few.
