We're looking for an experienced Transfer Pricing professional, based in London or Nottingham, to join us at the heart of this transformation.
In this visible and influential position, you will report into the Head of Global Tax Operations. You will build trusted relationships across regions, functions, and seniority levels. You will become a go-to expert on how Experian's value chain operates end-to-end.
You will lead and deliver our major transfer pricing projects, ensuring you ground them in commercial reality, align them to our global footprint, and comply with our Tax Policy and Transfer Pricing Standards.
What you will do:
- Partner with external advisors and regional tax teams on transfer pricing integration, controversy and litigation matters.
- Stay ahead of global tax developments including BEPS 2.0 to anticipate risks and opportunities.
- Gain deep insight into Experian's value chain to design robust, business-aligned transfer pricing solutions.
- Collaborate with the wider Tax team to ensure group projects are reflected in our Masterfile and Local File documentation globally.
- Work with our outsource provider to maintain solid documentation and defence files to support project implementation and tax authority scrutiny.
Qualifications:
We're looking for someone with credibility, confidence, and the ability to simplify complexity. You will have:
- Qualified & Experienced: An established Transfer Pricing professional, qualified as an accountant, tax specialist or lawyer. You'll have experience gained in-house or at Senior Manager level within the Big 4.
- A project driver: Able to manage corporate projects, guiding advisors on non-home-country tax issues, and weighing risk vs reward.
- A people-centred communicator: Great at translating technical detail into clear, simple messages and influencing partners across a matrixed global organisation.
- An organiser: Comfortable working as part of a global function, juggling priorities and maintaining documentation.
- Customer-focused: Committed to continuous improvement and delivering a great service to internal partners across the business.
Desirable:
- Prior experience implementing or maintaining a global IP or transfer pricing model.
- Cultural awareness and experience working as part of diverse, international teams.
