We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer in .NET to work at the forefront of our cloud modernization, within our Credit & Verification Services. You will be part of a high-performance engineering team that delivers the modernization of the products.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Deliver high-quality software solutions within agreed timelines, ensuring alignment with business requirements and agile principles.
- Build scalable, maintainable and performant REST APIs with microservices.
- Write high-quality unit and integration tests using xUnit or NUnit, with hands-on experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
- Conduct code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with .NET (8.0 or above).
- Knowledge of AWS Services like EC2, EKS and Lambda.
- Expertise in using mocking frameworks to ensure test reliability and alignment with acceptance criteria.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, clean architecture, SOLID principles, OOP, design patterns, and concurrency concepts.
- Familiar with static code analysis tools and vulnerability management.
- Proficient in working with either SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework and data modelling for performance and scalability.
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised application development, deployment and orchestration.
- Working experience with any source control, git (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab).
- Knowledge and experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
