About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to help shape how content works across Experian's product experiences. As the sole Content Designer in our Product Design team, you will balance hands‑on content design with building the standards, systems and ways of working that help our wider team create better content. Sitting within the Product Design team, you will work on our most strategically important customer journeys while helping establish a scalable content design practice across the organisation.

What you will do

  • Content Design - Lead content design on priority product plans and customer journeys.
  • Write clear, accessible and user‑centred content that sets the standard for quality.
  • Shape Tone of Voice across end‑to‑end experiences.
  • Use research and insight to inform content decisions.
  • Partner with Product Designers, Product Managers, Researchers and other important partners.
  • Practice Building - Develop content standards, guidance and reusable patterns.
  • Maintain and evolve a content system that enables designers to create better content independently.
  • Coach designers through workshops, content clinics and collaboration.
  • Champion content quality and consistency across the product experience.
  • Improve how content design works across teams.
  • Influence and Collaboration - Work with Legal, Compliance and Marketing to create aligned customer experiences.
  • Advocate for customer needs and content quality in product decisions.
  • Influence teams to ensure content design is brought earlier in the product development process.

Why This Role

This isn't a role where you will review every piece of copy. Instead, you'll focus your expertise where it creates the greatest impact while building the systems and capabilities that help others make better content decisions. You will also define how content design evolves at Experian and help raise the quality of our customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Content Design or UX Writing for consumer‑facing digital products.
  • Exceptional writing craft and a strong portfolio.
  • Expertise in content design, UX writing and information architecture.
  • Experience creating content standards, design systems or scalable frameworks.
  • Comfortable balancing hands‑on delivery with strategic practice‑building work.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience working in complex or regulated environments.
  • Experience using AI and agentic workflows to support your working practice.

Benefits

  • Hybrid working – 40% office based.
  • Great compensation package and discretionary bonus plan.
  • Core benefits include Pension, BUPA healthcare and more.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
