Job Description
Experian Data Office are looking for a Project Manager for a 12 month fixed-term contract.
You will lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects within the Data Management function, ensuring agreement on strategic goals and the realisation of measurable benefits.
These projects are necessary for driving operational efficiency, you will manage costs, enhancing oversight of data use and spend, and support industry transformation. Through structured governance and proactive partner engagement, the role will coordinate delivery, manage risks, and embed sustainable outcomes across the organisation.
This is a Nottingham based hybrid position reporting to the Head of Data Management
- Define and maintain the programme structure, ensuring understanding of strategic goals
- Translate team goals into a set of projects and workstreams with clear scope, deliverables and owners
- Provide direction and oversight to workstreams, ensuring consistency in delivery.
- Monitor progress across the programme, resolving issues and escalating risks.
Partner Engagement:
- Manage relationships with partners across the Data Office and also the wider business (legal, compliance, technology)
- Facilitate regular communication to ensure understanding, manage expectations, and secure agreement for programme goals
- Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insight into programme performance and strategic effects
- Lead workshops, steering groups, and partner forums to guide collaboration.
- Ensure accurate reporting of programme status, risks, and dependencies to senior partners
- Support assurance activities, including internal audits and external reviews.
- Undertake analysis to support projects and the eventual benefits realisation
- Define and track programme benefits, ensuring they are measurable, realistic, and aligned with team & our goals
- Work with business owners to embed changes and ensure benefits are realised and sustained post-delivery
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess outcomes and identify lessons learned
- Promote a culture of learning and improvement across the Data Office, demonstrating the value of tools such as EmPower or Lean Six Sigma
- Identify improvements to both BAU & programme delivery methods, tools, and templates
- Share best practices and lessons learned across teams to enhance future delivery and to help develop others within the team
- Stay informed of industry trends and practices in programme and change management.
Qualifications
- Degree or relevant experience in a similar role such as Business/Data Analysis, Process Consultant, Project Manager
- Programme or project management certification (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, PMP)
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies (e.g. EmPower)
