We are looking for an experienced Technical Programme Manager with proven experience of managing complex programmes of work.
What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology programmes across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Oversee programme governance, risk management, and reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability across all technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, digital, data, and business units to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions.
- Manage programme budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure robust technical architecture and infrastructure planning in collaboration with enterprise architects and engineering leads.
- Monitor and report on programme performance using KPIs and metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and value delivery.
- Champion cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication, translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Identify and mitigate interdependencies and risks across workstreams.
- Support change management activities to ensure successful implementation and user adoption of new technologies.
Work that matters – What you’ll be doing:
- Define and shape the overall programme strategy, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technology workstreams, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including software engineering, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity to deliver integrated solutions.
- Manage dependencies and interconnections between workstreams to ensure cohesive programme delivery.
- Facilitate regular programme reviews, steering committees, and stakeholder updates to maintain transparency and alignment.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues across the programme, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Work closely with product owners and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including training, communications, and user adoption strategies.
- Monitor and report on programme performance using dashboards, KPIs, and executive summaries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading large-scale technology programmes with multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, software development lifecycles, and infrastructure.
- Manage budgets, resources, and risks across complex programme landscapes.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise platform implementations.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and other programme management platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory compliance in technology programmes.
