As a Compliance Business Partner, you'll provide trusted regulatory advice challenge to our Credit and Verifications business, helping teams manage regulatory risks while delivering fair customer outcomes.

This is a hybrid role reporting into our Head of Advisory Compliance.

  • Work that matters – What you'll do
  • Partner with First Line teams to provide proactive regulatory guidance.
  • Challenge, and help manage regulatory risks, incidents, and remediation activities.
  • Advise on projects, product development, acquisitions, bids, and other strategic plans.
  • Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of regulatory controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Assess regulatory changes and implement appropriate actions across the business.

Qualifications

  • What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian
  • B2B compliance advisory experience
  • A good knowledge of data protection, data privacy would be an advantage
  • Experience of the FCA regulatory framework, including Consumer Duty and conduct risk principles.
  • Knowledge of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, DUAA 2025, and broader privacy requirements.
  • Experience interpreting complex regulations and translating them into clear, practical business advice supported by a knowledge of regulatory risk management, controls, governance, and oversight activities.
  • Exposure to Open Banking, AISP regulations, or Payment Institution requirements would be beneficial.
