Job Description
We're looking for an experienced
Product Designer who is passionate about solving real customer problems, thrives on turning complexity into simplicity, and loves using data, insight and experimentation to create exceptional digital experiences.
This is an opportunity to shape products used by millions of consumers to improve their financial health, working at the heart of a cross-functional product team where your ideas, creativity and customer focus will directly influence the experiences we build.
You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and other specialists to uncover customer needs, define opportunities, test ideas and design products that deliver meaningful outcomes for both our customers and the business.
Reporting to a Lead Product Designer, you'll also be part of a talented and collaborative design community where you'll share ideas, challenge thinking, develop your craft and help shape the future of design at Experian.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design of digital experiences across web and mobile, taking products from discovery through to launch and continuous optimisation.
- Work closely with customers to uncover pain points, understand behaviours and identify opportunities to create value.
- Transform insights, data and business goals into simple, intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Prototype and test ideas quickly, using experimentation and customer feedback to validate solutions and reduce risk.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define problems, shape strategy and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Use product metrics, customer data and performance measures to assess success and continuously improve experiences.
- Navigate complex regulatory requirements while maintaining a relentless focus on customer needs.
- Explore emerging technologies, including AI-powered design tools, to enhance the way we design and build products.
Qualifications
- You've designed successful digital products in a consumer-focused environment and understand what drives customer engagement, loyalty and growth.
- You have proven experience delivering end-to-end product design, from discovery and research through to launch and optimisation across web and mobile experiences.
- You're a natural problem solver who loves turning complex challenges into simple, intuitive experiences that customers value.
- You have a strong portfolio showcasing customer-centred design, measurable results, and commercial impact.
- You bring an experimentation mindset, using research, testing, customer feedback, and data to validate ideas and drive better outcomes.
- You understand product metrics and performance measures and know how to use data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
- You're highly skilled in Figma, modern prototyping tools, design systems, and accessible design practices.
- You thrive in collaborative Agile teams, enjoy influencing stakeholders, and are passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.
