We are looking for a commercially astute and analytically driven Finance Partner to support strategic decision-making across the business. You will be a key liaison between the finance function and operational teams, providing insight, challenge, and financial guidance to drive performance and value creation.
You will report into the Finance Director of Data, Platforms and Vertical Markets and partner with the Credit and Verification Services business, working closely with the Chief Product Officer and their team.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business units to provide financial insight, analysis, and support for strategic and operational decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes for assigned departments.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights and present to non-financial stakeholders.
- Support investment appraisals, business cases, and scenario modelling.
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting tools.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions and influencing outcomes.
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering or commercial finance role.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills combined with experience communicating to a diverse audience.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to solving problems
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
