The role
This is a 12 month fixed term Maternity cover contract within the EMAP procurement team and will offer the successful candidate a great opportunity to grow and influence local and regional business outcomes.
The position holder will act as a indirect buyer for the region predominantly supporting our German Operation across all commodities. There may also be a requirement to assist with other categories of spend, at a regional level as and when required.
Key duties include; Creation and management of RFX , developing supplier / stakeholder relationships, negotiating contracts and market leading commercials, maintenance of quality / governance standards, reducing supply chain risk and leading procurement projects (RFX) involving various departments to drive value to the Experian business.
As part of this role the successful candidate will be to expected to promote and \”sell\” the benefit of the Procurement function to the wider Experian business, hosting webinars and training sessions with internal groups.
Procurement
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage RFXs, auctions and contracts – utilising SAP Ariba, Experian\’s current e-sourcing tool.
  • Define and document a project pipeline and plan for Financial Years
  • Negotiate with suppliers and achieve market leading commercials.
  • Ensure all expenditure is covered by robust contracts
  • Strengthen business relationships with Internal stakeholders and key suppliers;
  • Develop alternate supplier and or supplier consolidation opportunities and other risk mitigation strategies;
  • Develop and lead the regional category strategy in partnership with Global lead;
  • Drive cost saving programs at both country and regional level;
  • Support regional procurement KPI performance and improvement

Business Support

  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPI\’s and SLA\’s,
  • Undertake a review of current supplier contracts and identify opportunities to drive additional value
  • Understand business requirements and build supply chain to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Provide market insight to business and stakeholders
  • Provide data analysis support and recommendations to business leads
  • Standardise procurement practices across business lines, countries and region

Compliance

  • Ensure EMAP procurement policies are adhered to.
  • Drive compliance agenda with internal stakeholders and reduce risk exposure
  • Ensure Oracle P2P controls are effectively used.

Procurement Business Analysis

  • Work with internal Legal teams to understand the impacts of legislation or other changes in the environment;
  • Develop and manage contract renewal and project pipelines;

Cross-functional Communication

  • Produce data and analytic reporting to support and or present to key stakeholder groups
  • Work with internal cross functional teams to understand the requirements and develop procurement plans to support
  • Build a stakeholder engagement plan to support procurement strategy
  • Support and contribute to best practice standardization across the country, region

Qualifications
Qualifications

  • MCIP\’s qualified or working towards would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • Good understanding of contract drafting and reviewing
  • Excellent negotiation skills
