Reporting into our Test Manager you will:
- Design, develop, and execute test strategies (manual and automation) aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to other SDETs in the team.
- Perform automation code review with peers.
- Drive implementation of automation frameworks and best practices across the team.
- Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement for QA practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product owners to ensure quality is embedded from design to delivery.
- Own quality metrics, report test results, and contribute to risk assessments.
- Guide root cause analysis for critical issues and drive preventive measures.
- Influence shift‑left testing.

Experience and Skills:
- Hands‑on experience in a quality engineering test automation role for software systems.
- Experience with improving quality and delivering high‑quality software.
- First‑tier approaches, security best practices, and shift‑left testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Agile testing, and SDLC practices.
- API testing experience using tools like Postman, Bruno.
- Automation frameworks development expertise with BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python.
- CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, etc.
- Proficiency in cloud‑based testing (AWS preferred) including services like S3, Step Function, Lambda, Event Bridge, Glue, Batch.
- Database/SQL testing, including data validation and backend verification.
- Performance testing exposure using tools like Locust, Gatling or Locust.
Useful skills:
- Experience with Big Data testing.
- Exposure to AI/ML model testing and validation.
- Knowledge of observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk).
- Basic understanding of security testing tools.
