Costa Rica FP&A Team is looking for a Revenue Finance Expert to join our Experian Partner solutions team. You will be an important liaison between the team and the GFS billing team to ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS standards. You will lead month end close activities, contribute to audit readiness and maintain adherence to internal controls and finance reporting requirements. We ask that you understand revenue accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast past environment. You will report to the FPA Supervisor EPS and you will not have managerial responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Analysis: Ensure accuracy and completeness of actual revenue, investigate variances, and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Revenue Recognition: Ensure revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS by reviewing billing and contract data.
  • Month-End Close and Forecasting: Manage main month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Collaboration: Promote communication between billing, finance, and sales teams to resolve revenue-related inquiries and align processes.
  • Audit Support: Partner with internal and external auditors to meet audit requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements, support automation projects, and contribute to SOP documentation.

Experience and Skills
  • Educational Background: Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, including financial forecasting and revenue analysis.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects end-to-end and prioritize deadlines.
  • Business Partnering & Communication: Customer service mindset with experience supporting finance professionals and communicating insights to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced English, Excel skills (complex functions), and familiarity with financial systems like Oracle, OBIEE, Tableau, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and SmartView.
